Rajesh Rai to chair human rights conference in Turkey

Rajesh Rai has been invited by the Kurdish Human Rights Project (KHRP) to speak and chair their annual cross border conference held this year in South East Turkey.

This is the second year that Rajesh has been invited to speak at the cross border conference. The delegates operate in the Kurdish regions and will include NGO's working in Iraq and Turkey. Rajesh will be speaking on capacity building for NGO's, international conventions governing prevention of torture and ill treatment especially against children and chairing a round table discussion on women's rights and international law supporting the rights of women in these regions. The conference will take place on the 13th and 14th November.
