Now specialising in immigration, asylum, human rights cases, and in professional regulation (Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal and Immigration Services Tribunal), Jeremy has a background in serious criminal defence work and in this context he regularly appeared as leading counsel or wasl led by Queen's Counsel. Has also undertaken high profile civil liberties cases in the High Court and criminal courts.
Jeremy also provides training to other lawyers and has been an external assessor and advisor to the Home Office New Asylum Model project, and a lecturer in Constitutional and Administrative law at the University of North London. He also provides advice and guidance to sponsors under the tiered points-based system.
Jeremy read Philosophy and Politics at Warwick 1989-92 and was called to the bar in 1995. He Jeremy was a founding member and continues to be a director and trustee of the Association of Lawyers for Animal Welfare, a registered charity.
